FOR MAINTENANCE <br />WORK TO REOPEN PIPE UNDER MARINE WORLD PARKWAY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, upon consideration of evidence presented to it as <br /> <br />to water quality in the lagoon system in Redwood Shores, this <br /> <br />Council desires to proceed with all necessary maintenance work to <br /> <br />the 48" diameter concrete pipe in Marine World Parkway; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, three prospective bidders were solicited pursuant <br /> <br />to Redwood City Code, Section 2.65, for the necessary repairs; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That certain agreement, entitled "Agreement" (form dated <br /> <br />April 25, 1985) by and between the City of Redwood City and <br /> <br />Power-Anderson, Inc., for the reopening of portions of the pipe <br /> <br />under Marine World Parkway, at a total contract price of Fourteen <br /> <br />Thousand Two Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($14,200.00), a copy of <br /> <br />which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br /> <br />which agreement reference is hereby made for full particulars <br /> <br />thereof, is hereby approved and the City Manager is hereby <br /> <br />authorized to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />3.
