J ,\fAL <br />'\;U i'l <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR MARINA SANITARY SEWAGE PUMP <br />STATION AND FORCE MAIN IMPROVEMENTS; REJECTING ALL <br />OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY <br />DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9830 adopted March 18, <br /> <br />1985, the City Clerk called for bids for sanitary sewage pump <br /> <br />station and force main serving the Port area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, La Grow Corporation, Petaluma, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award bid to said La Grow Corporation; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of La Grow Corporation, in the sum of One <br /> <br />Hundred Forty-six Thousand Six Hundred Forty-one and No/100 <br /> <br />Dollars ($146,641.00), computed in accordance with bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated April 16, 1985, for the Marina Sanitary Sewage <br /> <br />Pump Station and Force Main Improvements Project, is hereby <br /> <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled II Agreement, II by and between the City <br /> <br />98Gl <br />
