<br />SWC:djg-c 4/16/85 <br /> <br />APR 22 1985 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~ Q. 9 8 () 0 <br /> <br />ORiGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR OAK AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION <br />PROJECT; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING <br />RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9809 adopted February <br /> <br />25, 1985, the City Clerk called for bids for the Oak Avenue <br /> <br />Reconstruction Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Fisk, Firenze & McLean, Inc., Redwood City, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award bid to said Fisk, <br /> <br />Firenze & McLean, Inc.; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Fisk, Firenze & McLean, Inc., in the sum of <br /> <br />Eight Hundred Sixty-two Thousand Two Hundred Fifty-one and 50/100 <br /> <br />Dollars ($862,251.50), computed in accordance with bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated April 9, 1985, for the Oak Avenue Reconstruction <br /> <br />Project, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and <br /> <br />declared to be the lowest bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement," by and between the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City and Fisk, Firenze & McLean, Inc., for the <br /> <br />9860 <br />
