<br />SWC:sh 4/16/85 <br /> <br />APR 22 1985 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. 9 8;) 6 <br /> <br />Un!),}",;". ~, <br />., l:.il , ,I /J i <br />M\ ~,_IJ/"", <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CONDEMNING BUILDING AT 61 WILLOW STREET AS A <br />PUBLIC NUISANCE AND DIRECTING RECONSTRUCTION OR REMOVAL <br />THEREOF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Building Department of this City has determined <br /> <br />that the building located at 61 Willow Street is a public <br /> <br />nuisance as defined by Section 9.6 of the Redwood City Code <br /> <br />because of serious and numerous violations of the Fire Code, <br /> <br />Uniform Building code, Uniform Housing Code, Uniform Plumbing <br /> <br />Code, and the Electrical Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Building department has given notice as <br /> <br />evidenced by attached "Exhibit A" to the owner of the building at <br /> <br />61 Willow Street to appear before this City Council to show <br /> <br />cause, if any he has, why such building should not be declared to <br /> <br />be a public nuisance and abated in accordance with the provisions <br /> <br />of Chapter 9 of the Redwood City Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this council has received extensive evidence that <br /> <br />many violations of the Fire Code, Uniform Building Code, Uniform <br /> <br />Housing Code, Uniform Plumbing Code, and the Electrical Code <br /> <br />exist in the building at 61 Willow Street in the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The building at 61 Willow Street is hereby determined <br /> <br />to be a public nuisance because such building constitutes a fire <br /> <br />hazard and because such building endangers the life,. health, <br /> <br />9 856 <br />
