ORIGINAL <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> for <br /> <br /> FAIR HOUSING COUNSELING PROGRAM <br /> (MIDPENINSULA CITIZENS FOR FAIR HOUSING) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this '~-'~-x'<~day of <br />~,'X~'~x~X2~, 1999, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> municipal corporation of the State of California, (City), and MIDPENINSULA <br /> CITIZENS FOR FAIR HOUSING, a California nonprofit corporation (Contractor); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor conducts a fair housing counseling program for <br /> residents of the City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br /> the Program for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1999, and <br /> ending June 30, 2000; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor <br /> the sum of Thirty Seven Thousand, Nine Hundred and Fifteen and no/100 Dollars <br /> <br /> ($37,915.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Financial Assistance. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of Thirty <br />Seven Thousand, Nine Hundred and Fifteen and no/100 Dollars ($37,915.00) for <br />exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1999, and ending <br />June 30, 2000, solely for the purposes described in paragraph 2. <br /> <br /> 10/15/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
