ORIGINAL - <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> for <br /> <br /> FAIR HOUSING COUNSELING PROGRAM <br /> (MIDPENINSULA CITIZENS FOR FAIR HOUSING) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this _ day of <br /> <br /> ~ A~t/~, 2000, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br />- <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, (City), and MIDPENINSULA <br />CITIZENS FOR FAIR HOUSING, a California nonprofit corporation (Contractor); <br /> <br /> WlTNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor conducts a fair housing counseling program for <br />residents of the City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the Program for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000, and <br />ending June 30, 2001; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor <br />the sum of Thirty Eight Thousand, Three Hundred and Fifteen and no/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($38,315.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the Pro.am; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Financial Assistance. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of Thirty <br />Eight Thousand, Three Hundred and Fifteen and no/100 Dollars ($38,315.00) for <br />exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000, and ending <br />June 30, 2001, solely for the purposes described in paragraph 2. <br /> <br />8/15/00 <br /> <br /> <br />
