<br />DCB:sh 4/5/85 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9843 <br /> <br />OHlGINAl <br />APR 8 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR SEAPORT BOULEVARD <br />RECONSTRUCTION AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9798 adopted February 4, <br /> <br />1985, the City Clerk called for bids for the reconstruction of <br /> <br />Seaport Boulevard: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, O'Grady Paving, Inc., Mountain View, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award bid to said O'Grady Paving, Inc.: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of 0' Grady Paving, Inc. in the sum of Two <br /> <br />~1illion Seven Hundred Fifty One Thousand Seven Hundred Forty-Nine <br /> <br />and 50/100 Dollars ($2,751,749.50), computed in accordance with <br /> <br />bidder's proposal dated March 26, 1985, for the reconstruction of <br /> <br />Seaport Boulevard, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br /> <br />found and declared to be the lowest bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement," by and between the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City and O'Grady Paving, Inc., for the performance of <br /> <br />said work in accordance with the abovementioned bid proposal, a <br /> <br />9843 <br />
