<br />DCB:sh 2/27/85 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />No.9818 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />MAR 4 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR VETERANS BOULEVARD AND <br />WHIPPLE AVENUE CHANNELIZATION PROJECT; AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9780 adopted January 21, <br /> <br />1985, the City Clerk called for bids for the Veterans Boulevard <br /> <br />and Whipple Avenue Channelization Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Keyco Engineering Corp., Burlingame, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award bid to said Keyco Engineering Corp.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLmvS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Keyco Engineering Corp. in the sum of Thirty <br /> <br />Three Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty Seven and 11/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($33,837.11), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />February 19, 1985, for the Veterans Boulevard and Whipple Avenue <br /> <br />Channelization Project, is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br /> <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement," by and between the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City and Keyco Engineering Corp., for the performance <br /> <br />of said work in accordance with the abovementioned bid proposal, <br /> <br />981.8 <br />
