<br />DCB:sh 2/21/85 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />No.9810 <br /> <br />UR1Gl f'.JI\L <br />FEB 2 5 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR WEED ABATEMENT BY SPRAYING <br />AND DISKING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR <br />SAID WEED ABATEMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9786, adopted January <br /> <br />21, 1985, the City Clerk called for bids for th letting of a <br /> <br />contract for the weed abatement by spraying and disking wi thin <br /> <br />fiscal year 1984-85; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution, the City Clerk called <br /> <br />for bids for the abatement of weeds by spraying and disking; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Custom Farming, Redwood City, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said contract to Custom Farming; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Custom Farming, in the total amount of <br /> <br />Thirty Three Thousand Four Hundred Fifty-Two and 50/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($33,452.50), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />February 12, 1985, for the performance of weed abatement by <br /> <br />spraying and disking in the City of Redwood City, California, in <br /> <br />accordance with the specifications approved by Resolution No. <br /> <br />9786 , is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Any irregularities or informalities <br /> <br />that may be contained in said bid are hereby waived. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />9 81 0 <br />
