<br />DCB:sh 2/5/85 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 9 803 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />FES 11 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING INTENTION TO ADOPT RESOLUTION OF <br />NECESSITY WITH RESPECT TO EXERCISE OF THE POWER OF <br />EMINENT DOMAIN, AND SETTING HEARING THEREON <br />(WATER RESERVOIR, GID 1-64) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City is authorized to exercise <br /> <br />the power of eminent domain for the acquisition of real property <br /> <br />for public purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, that certain real property hereinafter described is <br /> <br />necessary for the public purpose of acquiring, constructing, <br /> <br />operating <br /> <br />and maintaining water <br /> <br />reservoir <br /> <br />facilities <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />appurtenances to serve Redwood City General Improvement District <br /> <br />No. 1-64; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. This Council hereby declares its intention to adopt a <br /> <br />Resolution of Necessity, pursuant to the provisions of Sections <br /> <br />1245.210 et seq. of the California Code of Civil Procedure, with <br /> <br />respect to the exercise of the power eminent domain for the <br /> <br />acquisition of all that certain real property more particularly <br /> <br />described in Exhibit "A" of the Notice, attached hereto, marked <br /> <br />Exhibit "I", and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br />2. Monday, March 4, 1985 at 7:30 o'clock p.m., or as soon <br /> <br />thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the Board of <br /> <br />Supervisors Chambers, Hall of Justice and Records, 401 Marshall <br /> <br />Street, Redwood City, California, is hereby set as the date, time <br /> <br />and place at which each person whose property is to be acquired <br /> <br />9 803 <br />
