<br />DCB:sh 1/9/85 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9778 <br /> <br />JAN 2 1 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />REVOCABLE PERMIT FOR USE OF SPACE IN CERTAIN CITY-OWNED <br />PROPERTY (SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT PROPERTY) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, V.I.P MARINE has requested permission to store new <br /> <br />and reconditioned boats on trailers on City-owned property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council recognizes the present use of the land <br /> <br />is not a source of revenue and the proposed use would be <br /> <br />economically beneficial to the City, while the City awaits for <br /> <br />redevelopment of the site; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, v. r. P. Marine has requested permission to occupy <br /> <br />the sewage treatment plant property owned by the City for the <br /> <br />aforesaid purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a revocable permit has been presented to this <br /> <br />Council permitting such occupation by V.LP. Marine of sewage <br /> <br />treatment plant owned by the City and this Council desires to <br /> <br />approve and authorize the execution of said permit; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain revocable permit entitled "Revocable Permit to <br /> <br />Use Space (Sewage Treatment Plant)" (form dated 1/10/85), on file <br /> <br />in the office of the City Clerk, a copy of which is attached <br /> <br />hereto as "Exhibit A" and incorporated herein, is hereby approved <br /> <br />substantially in the form of "Exhibit A" for issuance to V.I.P. <br /> <br />Marine and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9 778 <br />
