<br />DCB:sh 1/07/85 <br /> <br />ORIGH\JAl <br />JAN 1 ~1 1981" <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9774 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR ONE 3/4 TON CAB AND CHASSIS <br />AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9738 adopted November <br /> <br />26, 1984, the City Clerk called for bids for the purchase of one <br /> <br />3/4 ton cab and chassis; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, South Bay Ford Truck Sales, San Jose, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award bid to said South Bay Ford Truck <br /> <br />Sales; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of South Bay Ford Truck Sales in the sum of <br /> <br />Eleven Thousand Eight Hundred Forty Four and 93/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($11,844.93), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />December 18, 1984, for one 3/4 ton cab and chassis, is hereby <br /> <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest bidder for said equipment and all other bids are rejected. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City all <br /> <br />required documents for said purchase of equipment. <br /> <br />3.
