<br />nCB:rb <br />2B: rb <br /> <br />8/24/84 <br />8/27/84R <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. 9 67 7 <br /> <br />ORIGJ NAL <br />AUG 2 '7 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR SELECTED STREET <br />RESURFACING, 1984 - 85; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br />SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9657, adopted August 6, <br /> <br />1984, the City Clerk called for bids for Selected Street <br /> <br />Resurfacing 1984-85; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Fisk, Firenze & McLean, Inc., Redwood City, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award bid to said Fisk, <br /> <br />Firenze & McLean, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Fisk, Firenze & McLean, Inc. in the sum not <br /> <br />to exceed One Million One Hundred Fifty-one Thousand Six Hundred <br /> <br />One and 25/100 Dollars ($1,151,601.25), computed in accordance <br /> <br />with bidder's proposal dated August 23, 1984, for Selected Street <br /> <br />Resurfacing 1984-85, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br /> <br />found and declared to be the lowest bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement," by and between the City <br /> <br />9 677 <br />
