<br />SWC:rb <br />3WC:sh <br /> <br />8/18/83 <br />8/l3/84R <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />NO. 9669 <br /> <br />O~lGINAL <br />AUG 2 7 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMING REPORT OF SUPERINTENDENT OF <br />STREETS ON WEED ABATEMENT; OVERRULING PROTESTS THERETO; <br />AND AUTHORIZING ASSESSMENT OF THE COST OF ABATEMENT <br />AGAINST THE PARTICULAR PARCELS CONCERNED FOR!983-1~8zt <br />AD ~l!..~~11J;: N'I' R ():l;f; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 9510, adopted January 23, 1984, <br /> <br />the City Council declared weeds, rubbish, dirt and rank growths <br /> <br />in the City of Redwood City to be a nuisance, and set February <br /> <br />13, 1984 as the date for all objections to the proposed abatement <br /> <br />of said public nuisance to be heard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, due notice therefor having been given as required <br /> <br />by Article IV, Chapter 14, of the Code of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City, and no objections having been presented to said proposed <br /> <br />abatement, the City Council acquired jurisdiction to perform the <br /> <br />work of abating said nuisance, and by Resolution 9518, adopted <br /> <br />February 13, 1984 ordered the Superintendent of Streets to abate <br /> <br />said nuisance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Superintendent of Streets has submitted to <br /> <br />this Council of the City of Redwood City for confirmation an <br /> <br />itemized report of the cost of the abatement of weeds, dirt, <br /> <br />rubbish and rank growths from or abutting each separate parcel of <br /> <br />land from which weeds, dirt, rubbish and rank growths were <br /> <br />removed, and a list of the expenses proposed to be assessed <br /> <br />against said parcels for said abatement; and <br /> <br />9669 <br />
