<br />DCB:sh <br /> <br />8/1/84 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9 659 <br /> <br />Ot7IG1NAL <br />AUG 6 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL <br />SERVICES OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO PURCHASE ONE <br />VEHICLE (POLICE DEPARTMENT) <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.76 of <br /> <br />the Code of the City of Redwood City this Council has, on motion <br /> <br />duly made on the affirmative vote of at least five (5) members of <br /> <br />said Council, suspended the requirements of Article VII of <br /> <br />Chapter 2 of said Code relating to the purchase of materials, <br /> <br />equipment and supplies with regard to the purchase hereinafter <br /> <br />authorized. <br /> <br />2. That this Council does hereby authorized the Office <br /> <br />of Procurement of Department of General Services of the State of <br /> <br />California to purchase one (1) police patrol vehicle from Maurice <br /> <br />S. Sopp and Sons Cheverolet, Huntington Park, California for and <br /> <br />on behalf of the City of Redwood City pursuant to Section 14814 <br /> <br />of the Government Code. <br /> <br />3. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed to sign and delivery to said Department of General <br /> <br />Services all documents required by the department in connection <br /> <br />with the purchase authorized herein for and on behalf of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9659 <br />
