3/16/98 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13295 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR REDWOOD SHORES <br /> BIKE PATH IMPROVEMENTS; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br /> SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13286, adopted February 23, <br />1998, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Redwood Shores Bike Path <br />Improvements, Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, four bids were received for <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, MCH General Engineering of San Jose, California is the <br />lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />award said bid to MCH General Engineering.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of MCH General Engineering in the amount of Forty-two <br />Thousand Five Hundred Fifteen and No/100 Dollars ($42,515.00), computed in <br />accordance with bidder's proposal dated March 4, 1998 for the Redwood Shores <br />Bike Path Improvements, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found <br />and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2.
