<br />DCB:sh 9/27/84 <br />DCB:sh ll/l9/84R <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9742 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />NOV 2 6 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF PUBLIC <br />UTILITY EASEMENT (LOTS 5 & 6 BLOCK 1, FRIEND INDUSTRIAL <br />TRACT) IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, STREETS <br />AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA; SETTING <br />TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR <br />OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED VACATION; AND ORDERING <br />POSTING OF NOTICE OF SUCH PROPOSED VACATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a portion (forty feet of a fifty foot wide <br /> <br />easement) of a public utility easement in the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City, heretofore dedicated over a portion of Lots 5 and 6, Block <br /> <br />1 of Friend Industrial Tract Subdivision, is not needed for <br /> <br />present or prospective public service purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City intends to <br /> <br />vacate said public services easement pursuant to the provisions <br /> <br />of Part 3 of Division 9 (commencing with S8300) of the Streets <br /> <br />and Highways Code; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Council hereby declares its intention to <br /> <br />vacate a portion of public utility easement on Lots 5 and 6, <br /> <br />Block 1 of Friend Industrial Tract Subdivision, as hereinafter <br /> <br />described, and elects to proceed with such vacation pursuant to <br /> <br />the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 (commencing with S8300) of <br /> <br />the Streets and Highways Code. <br /> <br />9742 <br />
