3/2/98 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13292 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE <br /> (1) FOUR WHEEL DRIVE UTILITY TRACTOR; AND <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br /> THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Redwood <br />City Code, the City Manager caused public notice inviting bids to be published <br />for the purchase of one (1) four wheel drive utility tractor for the Parks, <br />Recreation and Community Services Department of the City of Redwood City; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication two bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Turf and Industrial Equipment of Santa Clara, California is <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />accept the bid of Turf and Industrial Equipment.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Turf and Industrial Equipment., in the total amount of Fifty <br />Thousand Eighty-eight and 14/100 Dollars ($50,088.14), computed in <br />accordance with said bidder's proposal dated January 19, 1998 for the sale of <br />one (1) four wheel drive utility tractor with optional attachments, which bid is on <br />file in the office of the City Clerk, to which reference is hereby made for the full <br />particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and said bidder is hereby found and <br /> <br /> Reso-359 1 <br /> DES:djk 13292 <br /> G:/Shared/Shared/Redwood/Council <br /> 02/06/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
