<br />P~B:djg-c 9/13/84 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9728 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />NOV 5 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN DESCRIBED CITY-OWNED <br />PROPERTY SURPLUS; AND AUTHORIZING SALE THEREOF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City is the owner of certain <br /> <br />property hereinafter listed on "Exhibit A" which is attached <br /> <br />hereto; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence that such <br /> <br />property is not needed for present or prospective municipal or <br /> <br />public purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Assessor has appraised said property and <br /> <br />determined that the current reasonable market value of each item <br /> <br />to be declared surplus is less than Five Thousand Dollars <br /> <br />( $ 5 , 000 . 00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />declare said property surplus and authorize its sale in accordance <br /> <br />with Section 3-1/2 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. This Council hereby finds, determines and declares that <br /> <br />those items on "Exhibit A" are surplus; that they are no longer <br /> <br />necessary or required for municipal or public purposes; and that <br /> <br />the appraised value of each item is less than Five Thousand <br /> <br />Dollars ($5,000.00). <br /> <br />2. This Council hereby authorizes the sale of the attached <br /> <br />described City-owned property in accordance with Section 3-1/2 of <br /> <br />the Charter of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9 72 ~ <br />
