<br />DCB:sh 10/23/84 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9726 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />NOV 5 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HOLLY STREET BRIDGE WIDENING <br />PROJECT, THE EL CAMINO REAL AND CHARTER TRAFFIC <br />SIGNALIZATION PROJECT, THE REDWOOD SHORES PARKWAY/PICO <br />DRIVE/MARRIOTT DRIVE TRAFFIC SIGNAL PROJECT, MAPLE <br />STREET /BAYSHORE FREEWAY PROPOSED INTERCHANGE PROJECT, <br />SEAPORT BOULEVARD/EAST BAYSHORE REALIGNMENT AND TRAFFIC <br />SIGNAL PROJECT, DUMBARTON BRIDGE EXTENSION FROM MARSH <br />TO WOODSIDE ROAD, AND EL CAMINO REAL/EDGEWOOD ROAD <br />CHANNELIZATION PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has advised this <br /> <br />Council that the Holly Street Bridge Widening Project, EI Camino <br /> <br />Real and Charter Traffic Signalization Project, the Redwood <br /> <br />Shores Parkway/Pico Drive/Marriott Drive Traffic Signal Project, <br /> <br />Maple Street/Bayshore Freeway Proposed Interchange Project" <br /> <br />Seaport Boulevard/East Bayshore Road Realignment and Traffic <br /> <br />Signal Project, Dumbarton Bridge Extension from Marsh to Woodside <br /> <br />Road, and EI Camino Real/Edgewood Road Channelization Project are <br /> <br />vital projects the construction of which will result in improved <br /> <br />traffic circulation and in greater traffic safety in this City; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the construction of such projects will benefit not <br /> <br />only this City but adjacent jurisdictions as well and will <br /> <br />facili tate traffic movement on State highways situated in this <br /> <br />City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />9726 <br />
