<br />DCB:sh 10/2/84 <br /> <br />OCT 1 5 1984 <br /> <br />RES L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 9 7 1 2 <br /> <br />r.u'P:~INAL <br />it l''U Q i.. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />TO PURCHASE LOW PRESSURE SODIUM VAPOR STREET LIGHT <br />FIXTURES <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.76 of the <br /> <br />Code of the City of Redwood City this Council has, on motion duly <br /> <br />made on the affirmative vote of at least five (5) members of said <br /> <br />Council, suspended the requirements of Article VII of Chapter 2 <br /> <br />of said Code relating to the purchase of materials, equipment and <br /> <br />supplies with regard to the purchase hereinafter authorized. <br /> <br />2. That this Council does hereby authorize and direct the <br /> <br />City Manager to purchase the necessary low pressure sodium vapor <br /> <br />street light fixtures under the best terms and conditions for the <br /> <br />Redwood City Department of Public Works and to complete all <br /> <br />documents to purchase said street light fixtures. <br /> <br />3. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed <br /> <br />to sign and deliver to said Department of Public Works all <br /> <br />documents required in connection with the purchase authorized <br /> <br />herein for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9712 <br />
