<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9646 <br /> <br />ORIG~NAL <br />JUL 2 3 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> <br />AGREEMENT WITH EMERGENCY HUNGER FUND OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Emergency Hunger Fund of Redwood City has been established <br /> <br />for the principal purpose of providing short term emergency food, <br /> <br />clothing, housing and transportation assistance to residents of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Emergency Hunger Fund of Redwood City has requested <br /> <br />financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during <br /> <br />the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1984 and ending June 30, 1985; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and <br /> <br />desires to pay to Emergency Hunger Fund of Redwood City the sum of <br /> <br />Seven Thousand Nine Hundred and NO/100 Dollars ($7,900.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Emergency Hunger Fund of <br /> <br />Redwood City, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 6/21/84), by and between the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City and Emergency Hunger Fund of Redwood City, <br /> <br />a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, <br /> <br />to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is <br /> <br />hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed <br /> <br />to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />9 c /1, ..~ <br />. \) "", <br />
