<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />9645 <br /> <br />Or:\"\NI\L <br />. .I \:1 <br /> <br />JUL 1.,;) bd4 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> <br />AGREEMENT WITH COMMUNITY EDUCATION CENTER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Community Education Center has been established ror the <br /> <br />principal purpose of providing a bilingual preschool program for <br /> <br />children and their parents in the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Community Education Center has requested financial <br /> <br />assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal <br /> <br />year commencing July 1, 1984 and ending June 30, 1985; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and <br /> <br />desires to pay Community Education Center the sum of Thirteen Thousand <br /> <br />Seven Hundred Sixty and NO/100 Dollars ($13,760.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Community Education <br /> <br />Center, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve <br /> <br />the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 6/27/84), by and between the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City and Community Education Center, a copy of which <br /> <br />agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy <br /> <br />reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby <br /> <br />approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />~) 6/1 S' <br />
