ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> for <br /> <br /> ADULT DAY SUPPORT SERVICES FOR REDWOOD CITY SENIORS <br /> (PENINSULA VOLUNTEERS) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ax~D day of <br />_(f~~ , 1998, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California, (City), and PENINSULA VOLUNTEERS, INC., <br />a California nonprofit corporation (Contractor); <br /> <br /> WlTNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor conducts an adult day support services for seniors who <br />are residents in the City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the <br />Program for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1998, and ending <br />June 30, 1999; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor <br />the sum of Eighteen Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($18,000.00) from its Community <br />Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the pa~ies hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Financial Assistance. City shall allocate to Comractor the sum of Eighteen <br />Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($18,000.00) for exclusive use by Contractor during the <br />fiscal year commencing July 1, 1998, and ending June 30, 1999, solely for the purposes <br />described in paragraph 2. <br /> <br />Agmt-Peninsula Volunteers <br />98-PS-008 <br />8/14/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
