<br />SWC:rks <br />SWC:rks <br /> <br />4/26/84 <br />5/08/84R <br /> <br />ORIGiNAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9t"'r~11 <br />J ~ <br /> <br />MAY 7 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH GEORGE HILLS COMPANY, INC., <br />FOR CLAIMS ADMINISTRATION SERVICES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City did, on August 25, 1980, <br /> <br />enter into an agreement with George Hills Company, Inc. for <br /> <br />claims administration services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the current term of said agreement as amended will <br /> <br />expire on March 31, 1984; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the agreement provides for extentions of one (1) <br /> <br />year at rates negotiated yearly, by agreement of both parties; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City and George Hills Company, Inc. desire to <br /> <br />extend the agreement for an additional one (1) year term and <br /> <br />whereas there has been presented to this Council an amendment to <br /> <br />paragraphs 6 and 7 of said agreement, creating a new one year <br /> <br />term and clarifying the City's obligations for payment of <br /> <br />adjuster services; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain amendment to agreement, entitled "Amendment to <br /> <br />Agreement, <br /> <br />Self-Insurance <br /> <br />Claims <br /> <br />Administration <br /> <br />Servicesll, <br /> <br />amending <br /> <br />paragraphs <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />7 <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />agreement <br /> <br />entitled <br /> <br />"Self-Insurance Claims Administration Services", dated August 25, <br /> <br />~ 5ri 1 <br />
