<br />SWC:djg-c 3/8/84 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9 53 6 <br />-" ,. <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />MAR 1 2 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR <br />PARTICIPATION IN CALIFORNIA COMMUNITY CRIME RESISTANCE <br />PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ci t.y of Redwood City desires to undertake a <br /> <br />certain project designated "City of Redwood City Community Crime <br /> <br />Resistance Program", to be funded in part from funds made <br /> <br />available through State General Funds as authorized by Chapter <br /> <br />1291 of the 1982 Statutes, for the California Community Crime <br /> <br />Resistance Program, administered by the Office of Criminal <br /> <br />Justice Planning ("OJCP"); <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. This Council hereby approves the City's participation in <br /> <br />the California Community Crime Resistance Program and hereby <br /> <br />authorizes the City Manager to submit an application for a grant <br /> <br />award from OJCP and to execute all required documents for <br /> <br />participation in the California Community Crime Resistance <br /> <br />Program. <br /> <br />2. This Council agrees to authorize the appropriation of <br /> <br />all matching funds required to participate in the California <br /> <br />Community Crime Resistance Program. <br /> <br />3. This Council agrees that grant funds received from the <br /> <br />OJCP will be used solely for the purposes set forth in the grant <br /> <br />application, and shall not be used for general law enforcement <br /> <br />operations of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9536 <br />
