<br />SWC:rks 2/23/84 <br /> <br />952,8 <br /> <br />ORtG I NAL <br />FEB 2 '7 1984 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING GRANT AWARD FROM OFFICE OF CRIMINAL <br />JUSTICE PLANNING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City desires to undertake a <br /> <br />certain project designated Career Criminal Apprehension Program <br /> <br />to be funded In part from funds made available through State General <br /> <br />Funds Fiscal Year 84/85 as authorized by Chapter 1167 of the 1978 <br /> <br />Statutes for the Career Criminal Apprehension Program, administered <br /> <br />by the Office of Criminal Justice Planning (hereinafter referred <br /> <br />to as "OCJpl); <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That the City Manager is hereby authorized to submit the <br /> <br />attached Application for Grant for Law Enforcement Purposes to <br /> <br />OCJP and is authorized to execute on behalf of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City the attached Grant Award for law enforcement purposes, <br /> <br />including any extensions or amendments thereof; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: <br /> <br />That the City agrees to provide all matching funds required <br /> <br />for said project (including any extension or amendment thereof) <br /> <br />under the Career Criminal Apprehension Program and the rules and <br /> <br />regulations of OCJP and that cash will be appropriated as required <br /> <br />thereby; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: <br /> <br />That grant funds received hereunder shall not be used to <br /> <br />supplement law enforcement expenditures controlled by this body. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9528 <br />
