0 R I G I N A L 11/17/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13251 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR THE INSTALLATION OF STREET <br /> FURNITURE FOR BROADWAY SIDEWALKS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolutions No.13143 and 13144 adopted July <br />28, 1997, this Council authorized the purchase of street furniture (the <br />"Furniture") for Broadway sidewalks; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br />the installation of the Furniture for Broadway sidewalks; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, three bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Shooter and Butts, Inc. of Pleasanton, California, is the <br />lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />accept the bid of Shooter and Butts, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Shooter and Butts, Inc., in the total amount of Eighteen <br />Thousand Two Hundred Fifty-two and No/100 Dollars ($18,252.00) computed in <br />accordance with said bidder's proposal dated October 10, 1997, is hereby <br />accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder <br />in response to solicitation for bids without advertisement for said installation of <br />the Furniture for Broadway sidewalks. <br /> <br /> Reso-322 1 <br /> F/Shared/Redwood/Council <br /> DES:djk <br /> 10~23~97 <br /> <br /> <br />
