<br />SWC:djg-c 2/10/84 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9523 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />FEB 1 J 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PUBLIC SERVICE <br />EASEMENT (CORDILLERAS HEIGHTS UNIT NO.3) IN ACCORDANCE <br />WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF <br />THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA; SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR <br />HEARING ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THE <br />PROPOSED VACATION; AND ORDERING POSTING OF NOTICE OF <br />SUCH PROPOSED VACATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public service easement heretofore dedicated over <br /> <br />a portion of real property in the City of Redwood City is not <br /> <br />needed for present or prospective public service purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood intends to <br /> <br />vacate said public service easement pursuant to the provisions <br /> <br />of Part 3 of Division 9 (commencing with Section 8300) of the <br /> <br />Streets and Highways Code; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Council hereby declares its intention to <br /> <br />vacate a public service easement over a portion of real property <br /> <br />in the City of Redwood City, hereinafter described, and elects to <br /> <br />proceed with such vacation pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 <br /> <br />of Division 9 (commencing with Section 8300) of the Streets and <br /> <br />Highways Code. <br /> <br />2. The public service easement to be vacated is as <br /> <br />indicated on the plat entitled "Plat of Easement to be <br /> <br />Abandoned - Cordilleras Heights Unit No.3" marked "Exhibit A", <br /> <br />and is more particularly described on "Exhibit B", both exhibits <br /> <br />9 ')'V ~) :...). <br />f,.
