0 R I G I N A L 11/14/97 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13247 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> DECLARING CANVASS OF RETURNS AND RESULTS OF <br /> GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON NOVEMBER 4, <br /> 1997 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of Redwood City, by Resolution No. 13109, duly <br />passed and adopted on June 23, 1997, called for the general municipal election <br />held on Tuesday November 4, 1997 and requested consolidation thereof with the <br />Redwood City School District elections; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Elections Code Section 10263, <br />the County Clerk has canvassed the returns and forwarded to the City Clerk the <br />certified results thereof for the general municipal election held on Tuesday, <br />November 4, 1997; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Clerk of the City of Redwood City shall be, and is hereby, <br />instructed to enter this resolution in the minutes of this Council as a statement of <br />the result of said election. <br /> <br /> 2. The number of voters who cast their ballots in said City at said general <br />municipal election was 8463. <br /> <br /> 3.
