0 R I G I N A L 11/3/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13239 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR ADULT DAY SUPPORT SERVICES FOR <br /> REDWOOD CITY SENIORS <br /> <br /> (PENINSULA VOLUNTEERS, INC.) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Peninsula Volunteers, Inc. ("Contractor") conducts an adult <br />day support services program for seniors who are residents of the City of <br />Redwood City (the "Program"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br />conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1997, and <br />ending June 30, 1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of RedwoOd City has reviewed said request and <br />desires to allocate to Contractor, the isum of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000) <br />from its Community Development iBIock Grant funds for the foregoing <br />purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been <br />presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for Adult Day Support <br /> Services for Redwood City Seniors," (form dated 10/27/97), by and between the <br /> <br /> <br />
