ORIGINAL <br /> lO/27/97 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13218 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br /> WATER AND SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM MATERIALS; AND <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br /> THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Redwood <br /> <br />City Code, the City Manager caused public notice inviting bids to be published <br />for the purchase of water and sanitary sewer system materials to be used by the <br />Water and Sanitary Sewer System Maintenance sections of the Public Works <br />Services Department for water and sanitary sewer system maintenance and <br />repairs in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication three bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Roberts and Brune Company of Redwood City, California is <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />accept the bid of Roberts and Brune Company; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Roberts and Brune Company, in the total amount of One <br />Hundred Sixteen Thousand Sixty-two and 28/100 Dollars ($116,062.28), <br />computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated August 27, 1997 for <br />the sale of said water and sanitary sewer system materials, which bid is on file in <br />the office of the City Clerk, to which reference is hereby made for the full <br /> <br /> Reso-312 1 <br /> DES:djk <br /> G:/Shared/Shared/Redwood/Council <br /> 10/02/97 <br /> <br /> <br />
