0 R I G I N A L 10/27/97 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13217 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br /> ELEVEN (11) VEHICLES; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Redwood <br /> <br />City Code, the City Manager caused public notice inviting bids to be published <br />for the purchase of eleven (11) vehicles for the various customer service <br />departments of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication two bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, S & C Ford, Inc. of San Francisco, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to accept the <br />bid of S & C Ford, Inc.; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of S & C Ford, Inc., in the total amount of Two Hundred Four <br />Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty-six and 65/100 Dollars ($204,856.65), computed <br />in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated September 24, 1997 for the sale <br />of eleven (11) vehicles, which bid is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br />which reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby <br />approved, and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder for the sale of said vehicles to the City. <br /> <br />R~,~ 1 <br />DE$:djk <br />G:/$hared/Shared/Redwood/¢ouncil <br />10/02/97 <br /> <br /> <br />
