0 R I G I N A L 10/6/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13212 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR DEMOLITION OF CITY- <br /> OWNED BUILDING LOCATED AT 1020 MIDDLEFIELD ROAD; <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br /> WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13139, adopted July 28, 1997, <br />the City Clerk advertised for bids for the demolition of a city-owned building <br />located at 1020 Middlefield Road (former police station), Redwood City, <br />California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, seven bids were received for <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Evans Brothers, Inc. of Livermore, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award <br /> <br />said bid to Evans Brothers, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1.
