<br />CGM:d~rT-c <br /> <br />10/31/83 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9472 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />NOV 7 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL <br />SERVICES OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO PURCHASE <br />CERTAIN DESIGNATED VEHICLES (POLICE DEPARTMENT) <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.76 of the <br /> <br />Code of the City of Redwood City this Council has, on motion duly <br /> <br />made on the affirmative vote of at least five (5) members of said <br /> <br />Council, suspended the requirements of Article VII of Chapter 2 <br /> <br />of said Code relating to the purchase of materials, equipment and <br /> <br />supplies with regard to the purchase hereinafter authorized. <br /> <br />2. That this Council does hereby authorized the Office of <br /> <br />Procurement of Department of General Services of the State of <br /> <br />California to purchase nine (9) police patrol vehicles for and on <br /> <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City pursuant to Section 14814 of <br /> <br />the Government Code. <br /> <br />3. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed <br /> <br />to sign and deliver to said Department of General Services all <br /> <br />documents required by the department in connection with the <br /> <br />purchase authorized herein for and on behalf of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />94'72 <br />
