<br />Cr,M:djg-c 10/13/83 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. ~ 46 1 <br /> <br />OCT 1 7 1983 <br />ORlG1NAl <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EL CAMINO REAL AND CHARTER <br />TRAFFIC SIGNALIZATION PROJECT, EL CAMINO REAL/WHIPPLE <br />AVENUE TRAFFIC SIGNAL MODIFICATION PROJECT, HOLLY <br />STREET INTERCHANGE PHASE II PROJECT, MAPLE STREET/ <br />BAYSHORE FREEWAY PROPOSED INTERCHANGE PROJECT, AND <br />THE REDWOOD SHORES PARKWAY/PICO DRIVE/MARRIOTT DRIVE <br />TRAFFIC SIGNAL PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has advised this <br /> <br />Council that the El Camino Real and Charter Traffic Signalization <br /> <br />Project, the EI Camino Real/Whipple Avenue Traffic Signal Modifi- <br /> <br />cation Project, the Holly Street Interchange Phase II Project, <br /> <br />Maple Street/Bayshore Freeway Proposed Interchange Project, and <br /> <br />the Redwood Shores parkway/Pico Drive/Marriott Drive Traffic <br /> <br />Signal Project are vital projects the construction of which will <br /> <br />result in improved traffic circulation and in greater traffic <br /> <br />safety in this City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the construction of such projects will benefit not <br /> <br />only this City but adjacent jurisdictions as well and will <br /> <br />facilitate traffic movement on State highways situated in this <br /> <br />City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That the El Camino Real and Charter Traffic Signali- <br /> <br />zation Project, the EI Camino Real/Whipple Avenue Traffic Signal <br /> <br />Modification Project, the Holly Street Interchange Phase II <br /> <br />9461 <br />
