ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 13206 9/22/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE COMPREHENSIVE <br /> STREET TREE MAINTENANCE PROJECT 1997-1998; <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br /> WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF BID SECURITY <br /> DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13130 adopted July 14, 1997, the <br /> <br />City Clerk advertised for bids for the Comprehensive Street Tree Maintenance <br /> <br />Project 1997-1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, three bids were received for <br /> <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Environmental Care, Inc. dba Arbor Care of San Jose, <br /> <br />California is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to accept the bid of said bidder; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Environmental Care, Inc. dba Arbor Care, setting forth <br /> <br />hourly rates stated in said bidder's proposal dated August 13, 1997, for the <br />Comprehensive Street Tree Maintenance Project 1997-1998, is hereby <br />accepted, said hourly rates are hereby expressly accepted for purposes of <br />determining actual compensation under the agreement, subject to the maximum <br />limitation of expenditures thereunder of One Hundred Eighty-two Thousand Fifty- <br />seven and 40/100 Dollars (182,057.40), and said bidder is hereby found and <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> Reso-281 1 <br /> DES:mge <br /> F:Shared\Shared\Redwood\Council <br /> 08/29/97 <br /> <br /> <br />
