ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13200 9/22/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL GEOTECHNICAL <br /> SERVICES - 1996-1997 WATERMAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT <br /> <br /> (SMITH-EMERY GEOSERVICES) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires the replacement of old and <br />deteriorated watermains in various locations throughout the City of Redwood <br />City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br />geotechnical materials testing and inspection services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Smith-Emery GeoServices of San Francisco, California, <br />represents that it possesses the experience, and is qualified to perform the <br /> <br />aforesaid services required for the Project; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement - Professional Geotechnical <br />Services - 1996-1997 Watermain Replacement Project" (form dated 09/03/97), <br />by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of <br />California, and Smith-Emery GeoServices, for the performance of the above- <br />mentioned services, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is <br /> <br /> Reso-293 1 <br /> DES:djk <br /> F:/Shared/Redwood/Counci <br /> 09/03/97 <br /> <br /> <br />
