<br />CGM:djg-c 8/18/83 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9427 <br /> <br />AUG 2 2 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR RECONSTRUCTION OF SEAPORT <br />BOULEVARD - PHASE I; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br />DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9399, adopted August 8, <br /> <br />1983, the City Clerk called for bids for reconstruction of <br /> <br />Seaport Boulevard - Phase I in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Piornbo Corporation, Belmont, California is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to said Piornbo Corporation; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Piornbo Corporation in the sum of Two Hundred <br /> <br />Eighty-seven Thousand One Hundred Ninety-three and no/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($287,193.00) computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />August 16, 1983, for reconstruction of Seaport Boulevard - Phase <br /> <br />I is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared <br /> <br />to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />for the abovementioned work, other than the bid mentioned in <br /> <br />paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />9427 <br />
