6/24/83 RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 9405 ORIGINAL JUL 2 5 1983 RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGR~EMENT WITH SAN ~ATEO COUNTY CO~~UNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT (R.S.V.P.) WHEREAS, San Mateo County Community College District (R.S.V.P.) has been established for the principal purpose of p~oviding volunteer placement services for Senior Citizens in the City of Redwood City; and WHEREAS, San Mateo County Community College District (R.S.V.P.) has requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1983 and ending October 31, 1983; and WHEREAS, The City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to pay to San ~ateo County Community College District (R.S.V.P.) the sum of One Thousand Five Hundred and NO/lOa Dollars ($1,500.00); and WHEREAS, There has been presented to this Council for approval an agreement between the City of Redwood City and San Mateo County Community College District (R.S.V.P.), and it is the in- tention and desire of this Council to approve the same; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: That certain agreement (form dated 6/24/83), by and between the City of Redwood City and San Mateo County Community College District (R.S.V.P.), a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which CODY reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. * * * 9405
