<br />6/24/83 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />9402 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JUL 2, 5 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH CO~~UNITY EDUCATION CENTER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Community Education Center has established <br /> <br />for the principal purpose of providing a bilingual preschool <br /> <br />program for children and their parents in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Community Education Center has requested financial <br /> <br />assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during <br /> <br />the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1983 ending June 30, 1984; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said <br /> <br />request and desires to pay to Community Education Center the <br />sum of Thirteen Thousand Two Hundred Thirty and NO/IOO Dollars <br /> <br />($13,230.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for ap- <br /> <br />proval an agreement between the City of Redwood City and <br /> <br />Community Education Center, and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 6/24/84), by and between <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and Community Education Center, a <br /> <br />copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the <br /> <br />City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for <br /> <br />full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City <br /> <br />Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute <br /> <br />the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9402 <br />
