0 R I G I N A L 9/8/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13186 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASE OF TWELVE (12) <br /> MOTOROLA MOBILE RADIOS FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT AND <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br /> IN CONNECTION THEREWITH <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.76 of the Redwood City Code, this Council has <br />Suspended the requirements of Article VII of Chapter 2 of the Code of the City of <br />Redwood City relating to competitive bidding for the hereinafter described purchase: <br />and <br /> <br />Whereas, the Fire Department requires the purchase of twelve (12) Motorola mobile <br />radios; and <br /> <br />Whereas, this Council desires to approve the purchase of said mobile radios in an <br />amount not to exceed Twenty Five Thousand One Hundred Twenty Dollars <br />($25,120.00) <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. This Council hereby approves the purchase of twelve (12) Mo{orola mobile <br />radios for the Fire Department in the City of Redwood City from Motorola Corp.of <br />San Mateo, California in the amount not to exceed Twenty Five Thousand One <br />Hundred Twenty Dollars (25,120.00). <br /> <br /> 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute all documents <br /> required in connection with the purchase authorized herein (irrform approved by <br /> the City Attorney) for and on behalf of the City of Redwood Cit~. <br /> <br /> <br />
