<br />GS:6/15/83 <br /> <br />9387 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JUN 2, 7 1983 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN DESCRIBED CITY-OWNED <br />PROPERTY SURPLUS; AND AUTHORIZING SALE THEREOF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City is the owner of certain prop- <br /> <br />erty hereinafter listed on "Exhibit A" which is attached hereto; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence that such property <br /> <br />is not needed for present or prospective municipal or public purposes; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Assessor has appraised said property and <br /> <br />determined that the current reasonable market value of each item to be <br /> <br />declared surplus is less than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />declare said property surplus and authorize its sale in accordance <br /> <br />with Section 3-1/2 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. This Council hereby finds, determines and declares that <br /> <br />those items on "Exhibit A" are surplus; that they are no longer neces- <br /> <br />sary or required for municipal or public purposes; and that the <br /> <br />appraised value of each item is less than Five Thousand Dollars <br /> <br />($5,000.00) . <br /> <br />2.
