<br />SWC:djg-c 5/18/83 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9353 <br /> <br />\~;"I~'AL <br />...J, \Ill I ~ <br />MAY 2 3 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR TENNIS COURT RESURFACING - <br />RED MORTON COMMUNITY PARK AND MEZES PARK; REJECTING <br />ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br />SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9332, adopted April <br /> <br />18, 1983, the City Clerk called for bids for Tennis Court <br /> <br />Resurfacing - Red Morton Community Park and Mezes Park <br /> <br />in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Malott & Peterson-Grundy, San Francisco, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to said <br /> <br />Malott & Peterson-Grundy; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Malott & Peterson-Grundy, in the sum Forty- <br /> <br />three Thousand Three Hundred Thirteen and No/lOa Dollars <br /> <br />($43,313.00), computed in accordance with the base bid plus <br /> <br />additive Alternates No.1 and 2 of bidder's proposal dated May <br /> <br />10, 1983, for tennis court resurfacing - Red Morton Community <br /> <br />Park and Mezes Park is hereby accepted and said bidder lS <br /> <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder <br /> <br />J 0~3 <br />
