<br />GAS/CM/co <br />5/19/83 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9352 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />MAY 2 3 1983 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND <br />BRIAN, KANGAS, FOULK AND ASSOCIATES, RELATING TO <br />AN ENGINEERING STUDY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires an engineering <br /> <br />study for the Bayfront Canal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City desires to engage Brian, <br /> <br />Kangas, Foulk and Associates, Redwood City, California, to <br /> <br />perform such study which shall include, but not be limited to, <br /> <br />preparation of a computer model to simulate the existing watershed, <br /> <br />canal and outfall structure and preparation of preliminary cost <br /> <br />estimates for needed improvements to prevent flooding; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Brian, Kangas, Foulk and Associates has represented <br /> <br />to the City that it is experienced and qualified to perform all of <br /> <br />the abovementioned services as further described in the proposed <br /> <br />agreement therefor; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY. <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City, and Brian, Kangas, Foulk and Associates entitled "Agreement - <br /> <br />Bayfront Canal Investigation" (form dated 5/19/83) a copy of <br /> <br />which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, lS <br /> <br />hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City. <br /> <br />9352 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
