0 R I G I N A L 8/25/97 <br /> <br /> (08/25/97) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13172 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Mills Peninsula Hospital Senior Focus (Retired and Senior <br /> Volunteer Program of San Mateo County) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mills Peninsula Hospital Senior Focus (Retired and Senior Volunteer <br />Program of San Mateo County) is a private, non-profit organization that provides volunteer <br />opportunities for people age 55 and older with a myriad of experience and interests from all <br />economic, educational, and social backgrounds, which services are in furtherance of the public <br />health, welfare and benefit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mills Peninsula Hospital Senior Focus (Retired and Senior Volunteer <br />Program of San Mateo County), has requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting its <br />activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1997 and ending June 30, 1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an <br />agreement with Mills Peninsula Hospital Senior Focus (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program <br /> <br />of San Mateo County) to provide financial assistance in furtherance of its public purposes; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 8/25/97), by and between the City of Redwood City <br />and Mills Peninsula Hospital Senior Focus (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of San Mateo <br />County) a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy <br />reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager <br />is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood <br />City. <br /> <br /> <br />
