0 R I G I N A L 8/25/97 <br /> (08/25/97) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13170 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Kainos Home and Training Center for the Developmentally <br /> Disabled <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Kainos Home and Training Center for the Developmentally Disabled is a <br />private, non-profit organization that provides services to adults with developmental <br />disabilities to maximize their potential as active, contributing members of their community, <br />which services are in furtherance of the public health, welfare and benefit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Kainos Home and Training Center for the Developmentally Disabled, has <br />requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year <br />commencing July 1, 1997 and ending June 30, 1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an <br />agreement with Kainos Home and Training Center for the Developmentally Disabled to provide <br /> <br />financial assistance in furtherance of its public purposes; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 8/25/97), by and between the City of Redwood City <br />and Kainos Home and Training Center for the Developmentally Disabled a copy of which <br />agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for <br />full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and <br />directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of :ledwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
