0 R I G I N A L 8/25/97 <br /> <br /> (08/25/97) <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13167 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement With Emergency Hunger Fund <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Emergency Hunger Fund is a private, non-profit organization that provides <br />assistance with emergency short term help to individuals in the community, which includes <br />food, clothing, shelter and gasoline, which services are in furtherance of the public health, <br />welfare and benefit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Emergency Hunger Fund, has requested financial assistance for use by it in <br />conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1997 and ending June 30, <br />1998; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an <br />agreement with Emergency Hunger Fund to provide financial assistance in furtherance of its <br />public purposes; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 8/25/97), by and between the City of Redwood City <br />and Emergency Hunger Fund a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, <br />to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and <br />the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the <br />City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
