0 R I G I N A L 8/25/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13155 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE 1996-1997 <br /> WATERLINE REPLACEMENT PROJECT; AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br /> DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13131, adopted July 14, 1997, <br /> the City Clerk advertised for bids for the 1996-1997 Waterline Replacement <br /> Project, Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, three bids were received for <br /> the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Pacific Underground Construction, Inc. of San Jose, <br /> California is the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br /> this Council to award said bid to Pacific Underground Construction, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Pacific Underground Construction, Inc. in the amount of <br />One Million Two Hundred Forty-five Thousand Six Hundred Eighty-five and <br />No/100 Dollars ($1,245,685.00), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal <br />dated July 29, 1997 for the 1996-1997 Waterline Replacement Project, is hereby <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />Reso-262 1 <br />DES:djk <br />08/01/97 <br />F:Shared/Redwood/Council <br /> <br /> <br />
