0 R I G I N A L 8/25/97 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13153 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE REDWOOD SHORES <br /> SEWER PUMP STATION #2 REHABILITATION PROJECT; <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br /> WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13104, adopted June 9, 1997, the <br />City Clerk advertised for bids for the Redwood Shores Sewer Pump Station #2 <br />Rehabilitation Project, Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, six bids were received for the <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, F & M Engineering Contractors, Inc. of Freedom, California is <br />the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />award said bid to F & M Engineering Contractors, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of F & M Engineering Contractors, Inc. in the amount of Two <br />Hundred Ninety Thousand Six Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($290,600.00), <br />computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated July 2, 1997 for the <br />Redwood Shores Sewer Pump Station #2 Rehabilitation Project, is hereby <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />Reso-263 <br />DES:djk <br />08/01/97 <br />F:Shared/Redwood/Council <br /> <br /> <br />
